Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno has been serenading his two-month-old baby with songs from the band's upcoming album.
The rocker has revealed his two-month-old son Ennio - his child with his partner Amy - is already showing an interest in music and loves it when plays his guitar to him.
Speaking at The Q Awards in London yesterday (25.10.10), Serge told BANG Showbiz: "I've been teaching my baby how to box and I've been playing the guitar for him. Music, thankfully, soothes him so I've just been playing guitar to him and it gets him off. Which is nice.
"I've been playing him some of the new album he thinks it's gonna be amazing. He likes it better than the last one.
I'm glad he likes good tunes already. I've also been playing him the old classics like The Everly Brothers."
Serge has made his Kasabian bandmate Tom Meighan his son's godfather and the singer admits he loves helping out and spoiling
Tom, 29, said: "I'm The Godfather so it's been lovely just doing family things. He's a beautiful boy. I've bought him a little Formula 1 outfit, a Ferrari one, so he'll grow into that soon. It's an honour to be the godfather."
Although he is busy with fatherhood, Serge is still finding the time to concentrate on the band's next LP.
The 29-year-old musician said: "I think about the new album everyday. There are demos and tunes that are just waiting to be recorded - it's gonna be f***ing amazing. The ambition is for every album to be different and for every album to be better than the last."
