Selena Gomez is heading back out on the road for her upcoming Revival World tour. The 23-year-old announced her plans on Monday (5th October), just days before her upcoming album of the same name is due to be released. Revival is Gomez’s second studio album and the upcoming World tour will also be her second solo world tour following her 2013 Stars Dance Tour.

“I am ready to get back on the road and see my fans in person!” Gomez said in a statement (via EW). “This album marks a new and very important chapter in my life. I cannot wait to get on stage and perform this new material.”

Gomez also confirmed the news to fans via Instagram in a short video.

“Hey guys, I have a very important and exciting announcement,” Gomez said in the video. “I am launching my Revival full World tour. I will be going to the U.S. and Canada from May to July then later in the year going overseas.”

Gomez will visit 41 cities in North America, beginning in Las Vegas on May 6th 2016. The final performance of the North America leg of her World tour will be on July 8th in Los Angeles. 

Gomez’s Revival album is due to be released on October 9th. Three tracks from the upcoming album have already been released: 'Good For You', 'Same Old Love' and 'Me and the Rhythm'. 

Tickets for the North America leg of the Revival World tour will be on sale from 17th October.
