The actress Sean Young is demanding an apology from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She has shown off bruises that she allegedly received after an Oscars after-party bouncer manhandled her. The incident occurred when the 52 year-old actress was attending an Oscars after-show. A report from the Daily Mail shows the actress - born Mary Sean Young - talking to reporters from her Los Angeles home and revealing the bruises on her arm, which were allegedly sustained in the physical fracas, which ended dup with her arrest.
On her Facebook page, Sean Young wrote "Waiting on word from The Academy on a public apology. I think they have figured out it was in fact there (sic) security guards (sic) fault and may indeed feel they should issue an apology to me. I will keep you posted." She was alleged to have slapped a security guard but told her fans, via the social networking site "I have grounds for a lawsuit against the Academy although I believe a public apology to me would be much better. I am OK and I have the Hollywood Police Stations (sic) support who very carefully and kindly photographed the bruises on my arms which this guard is responsible for doing.' Prior to the incident, Sean Young had been photographed with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as well as Jonah Hill and Michelle Williams.
This is not the first time that Sean Young has faced trouble getting in to post-Oscars parties that she wasn't invited to. In 2006, she tried to get in to the Vanity Fair party by sneaking in behind Jennifer Aniston. She was escorted out by security guards who noticed her gatecrashing efforts, though.
