Sean Penn’s son, Hopper lashed out at some paparazzi recently, but instead of the standard celebrity ‘ you’re ruining in my life with your constant camera pointing’, Penn Junior went in a different, altogether unforgivable direction.
Relaxed - Sean Penn
The photographer in question – clearly riled up in the video (understandable after being called a “fa**ot” and a “ni**er” – decided not to press charges, as it was ‘just’ a verbal assault. Young Hopper will have a long way to go before he can show his face in Hollywood again without castigation, that’s for sure.
According to TMZ, who posted the video of Hopper’s obscenities, and then duly translated the foul-mouthed tirade, he told the photographer/reporter: "F*** you ... you're a f***ing f***ot ... shut up you f***ing n***er." And all this after he clearly seemed to push the man. “I was accosted by paparazzi and made to feel like an animal - threatened and under attack, but that does not condone my own actions," says Hopper in a desperate attempt to justify his words. "I deeply regret my choice of words,” he adds. Penn, rather famously, kicked out against some photographers, an incident which landed him three years of probation. But this time, a wiser, more thoughtful Penn managed to express his disdain for the art of papparazi, coldly walking by and ignoring them, stone-faced; something his son is yet to learn.
