Rapper JAY-Z's unlikely inspiration behind his latest studio album was fellow hip-hop star Sean Combs. The 99 Problems hitmaker, real name Shawn Carter, enlisted his rival to co-produce new record American Gangster - and was so influenced by the 38-year-old's music samples that it took him only three weeks to write accompanying lyrics. He says, "When I get there, he plays me all this 70s-style music - keys and horns - and it takes me back to my childhood."
