SCRUBS star Zach Braff was refused entry to the NBC/Universal studio lot for a recent appearance on THE ELLEN DeGENERES SHOW because security guards failed to recognise him. Braff showed up at the studio main gate in Burbank, California, to tape his appearance on the talk show and couldn't get past the front office. Guards refused to believe Braff was a celebrity and were adamant he couldn't bring his dog on the lot, even though he'd appeared on the show with his pet in the past. Braff admits he was more than a little embarrassed because his hit medical sitcom is an NBC/Universal show. He says, "I gotta say it's one thing on another lot but this is the NBC lot. I'm a pretty humble guy, I didn't want my ego to get in the way but the guy wouldn't let me on and I'm like, 'So you don't watch any of the shows?'"
