Country singer Scotty Mccreery is nursing a bruised ego after falling from a stage during a concert in New York.
The American Idol star was opening for Brad Paisley at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts on Friday (10Aug12) when he tumbled into the crowd, midway through his rendition of Travis Tritt's song T.R.O.U.B.L.E.
However, MCCreery did not miss a beat and he hopped back up onstage to continue the show - and he even shared video footage of his mishap with fans on Twitter.com.
The embarrassing moment was not lost on prankster Paisley, who decorated the stage at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center with traffic cones and caution tape to prevent a repeat accident at the follow-up gig on Sunday.
Having a good laugh at his own expense, the 18 year old posted an image of the prank and tweeted, "@BradPaisley wanted me to be extra cautious... Thanks Brad!"
