One gets so used to seeing crappy independent comedies that one scarcely knows what to do when a truly funny one comes along.

Good for Nothing, a simple film that just wants to make you laugh it the misfortune of its star (Scott Jason), is just such a movie, expertly written and full of laugh-out-loud jokes that could leave a grown man in tears. Its story -- a deadbeat guy wants nothing more than to be an actor (despite a dearth of talent) and must contend with a nutcase brother, a nutcase mother, her nutcase boyfriend, and, well, a whooooooole lot of other problems that just get in his way.
