The ‘Googlebox’ star was crowned Queen of the Jungle earlier this month.
‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ winner Scarlett Moffatt is reportedly topping the list of potential hosts for the ‘Great British Bake Off’ on Channel 4.
According to The Mirror, Channel 4 bosses believe the ‘Googlebox’ star is the perfect person to host a revamped version of the cookery show.
Could Scarlett Moffatt be the replacement for Mel and Sue Channel 4 are looking for?
A source told the newspaper: “Scarlett is now a serious contender – she opened a lot of eyes to her potential on I’m a Celebrity.
“She is young, very funny and just the type of presenter Channel 4 are looking for to front their version of the show. Scarlett may be inexperienced but the thinking is she could be paired with a more senior co-host.”
Names who are said to be in the running to host alongside Scarlett are Victoria Coren Mitchell, Sarah Millican, Sandi Toksvig and Davina McCall.
Up until last December Scarlett was working a 9 to 5 office job. She’s now set to potentially earn £1 million thanks to her jungle win and fitness DVD which is released on Boxing Day.
However a friend close to the 26-year-old said she’s told her management to put off any talks about her future until the New Year.
The friend said: “She wants to enjoy a lovely Christmas, then make a proper shot at a long-term television career. She is prepared to work hard to achieve it.”
