Scarlett Johansson and her fiancee Romain Dauriac have not set a date for their wedding after representatives confirmed they're engagement on Thursday (05.09.13)
Scarlett Johansson and her fiancee Romain Dauriac have not set a date for their wedding.
A representative for the star has finally confirmed the couple are yet to set a date for their nuptials, after initially declining to comment on the large art deco diamond ring worn by the blonde beauty at the 'Under the Skin' premiere on Wednesday (04.09.13)
The 28-year-old's publicist told Harpers Bazzar - ''I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven't chosen a date for the wedding.''
Scarlett is thought to have accepted his proposal approximately one month ago and sources claim they are ''very happy''.
The couple began dating in November after being introduced by mutual friends, just weeks after the actress split from her boyfriend of one year Nate Taylor.
Scarlett had sparked engagement rumours when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring at the Venice International Film Festival in Italy earlier this week following earlier reports in July that she been sporting a gold ring ruby ring, but friends dismissed it as a ''simple piece of jewellery''.
The 'Avengers' actress - who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds for two years before their divorce was finalised in June 2011 - admitted last year while she liked being married she had no plans to tie the knot again anytime soon.
She said: ''I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually.
''But it is different. It's hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn't mean you have to be married.
''I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me. It's really not important to me.''
