Incredible acts have been revealed for the eco-friendly Plissken Festival in Greece this summer.
The famous Plissken Festival is celebrating its fifth birthday this June with a phenomenal line-up. Hard-hitting, electric, and the best quality: this summer is looking amazing for Greece, with some of the best alternative artists and performers around.
The post-punk revival rock band Savages are an unmissable act this year, as well as legendary beat boxer Beardyman. Synth-pop virtuoso Perfume Genius will join them, along with dark indie rockers The Twilight Sad. All this and more makes Plissken perhaps one of the most innovative and exciting multi-genre festivals of the Summer.
Savages to headline Plissken 2015
As if this wasn't enough, there are a huge variety of acts that are sure to entertain every person attending. Mogwai will be headlining the Saturday's line-up, followed by Pharoathe Monch, the power-rapper who will certainly be moving the crowd with his lyrics. And speaking of lyrics, Ariel Pink will also be there blasting his song-writing skills and multi-instrumental talent, hopefully with tracks from his 2014 album 'pom pom'. French DJ Brodinski will be showing off his massive beats with electronic artist Evian Christ.
Plissken Festival effortlessly pushes the boundaries of their social and environmental ethos. It continues to be incredibly environmentally conscious, having developed an Environmental Police Strategy back in 2010. The Greener Festival Awards' Global Governing Body commended Plissken, making it the first festival to be awarded. Prior to the festival, 'The Lab' takes place. It is an annual workshop organised by the Festival and takes place in Athens. It is designed to show participants how a festival is put together and what actually goes into it.

What with all the fantastic festivals this Summer all over the world, Plissken is creeping its way to the top with its amazing line-up. Plus, there wont be a chance of rain in its astonishing Athens location, you'd be silly to miss it.
