There have been many rumours that claim pop superstars Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are involved in a bitter feud for quite some time now, but when the 25-year-old singer recently had a chance to address this speculation, she refused to admit or deny if the pair are still at odds.

Swift refused to talk about Perry in a recent interview

In a new interview with The Telegraph UK published Saturday (Feb 28th), Swift abruptly stated that she will never ever comment on Perry publically after she was questioned about the duo's alleged feud.

"I'm not giving them anything to write about," she said about her own lifestyle. "I'm not walking up the street with boys, I'm not stumbling out of clubs drunk. But I'm never going to talk about her in my interview. It's not going to happen."

The pop singer's public spat reportedly began last September when Swift admitted the song 'Bad Blood,' which features on her album '1989,' was inspired by a unknown "straight-up enemy" celebrity.

The pair's relationship was also strained after Perry used several of Swift's backup dancers for her Prismatic Tour while she was in the middle of preparing for her Red Tour last year. Although Swift never identified this individual, many still believe that she is referring to Perry.

However, the 'Shake It' singer is adamant that she always tries to be pleasant and lives a relatively normal life.

Perry hasn't publically spoke about the duo's alleged feud either

"It's not real if someone appears to never have any issues with anyone. I have my friends. I have enemies," she added to The Telegraph. "I have bad days when I don't want to go to a photo shoot, but I'm not going to show up four hours late. I'm going to be there on time. I'm not nice all the time, but I try not to be carelessly rude to people who don't deserve it."

"When I'm with my friends, we don't say glowing things about everybody. We're not sitting around going, 'You know who's really special and wonderful?' That's not what we talk about - we're normal girlfriends," Swift concluded.
