Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed she will make a special guest appearance in her former soap 'All My Children'.
The 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' actress made her name on the daytime soap playing Kendall, the spoiled daughter of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and while Sarah has confirmed she will make a guest appearance before the show comes to an end on TV, she isn't planning to resume her former role which is now played by Alicia Minshew.
She said: "I have no idea what I'm doing or who I'm playing. I told them I don't want to be Kendall; that's Alicia's role now. I just wanted to be a part of it. I have no idea what I'm going to do, so we can take suggestions, but I will be doing one day. I'm excited."
Sarah - who has a 22-month-old daughter Charlotte Grace with husband Freddie Prinze Jr. - is currently starring on TV show 'Ringer' and she revealed working in television offers her a more flexible schedule so she doesn't miss any major milestones even though Freddie is delighted to be a stay-at-home dad.
She said: "[Freddie's] great, he loves it. He's perfectly happy to stay at home and put the baby to bed.
"I didn't realize how much I miss the atmosphere until I started back.
"There's something about television, seeing the same people everyday, looking forward to the scripts - I'm loving it more than I thought I was going to."
"I want to be able to go home at night and see my daughter. I want to be there for her first day of school and her school recital. Television offers me that - they're amazing at working around schedules. All of the big milestones I'm there for."
