Sarah Jessica Parker feels ''lucky'' to wear one of Chanel's little black jackets.

The 'Sex and the City' actress is one of the stars of Chanel's Little Black Jacket photography exhibition and has admitted wearing the fashion house's versatile design makes her feel like a queen because it's so iconic.

The 47-year-old star said: ''You have to earn a garment like this. I would even go so far as to say that I hope no one could get one by chance. Some people would call it a work of art. It's something to covet, to dream about.

''You tell yourself that one day, perhaps, you will have the chance to won one. Now that have one and am wearing it, it's something I value enormously. I think I am very lucky.

''You can wear it when you take the kids to school or got to the market. You can slip a little black dress under it for a chic look or wear it in a more relaxed way. And, of course, you can wear it with a crown...''

Blonde beauty Kirsten Dunst is another of the famous faces featured in the new exhibition at London's Saatchi Gallery and she revealed she looks upon the garment as a timeless investment.

Kirsten enthused to Hello! magazine: ''You can go anywhere in a Chanel jacket. You'll always look beautiful. When you have the opportunity to own something so luxurious, you don't say no. You have to pass it on to the next generation.''

The black and white images of celebrities including Uma Thurman and Claudia Schiffer wearing Coco Chanel's classic design were taken by creative director Karl Lagerfeld himself.

The exhibition runs until October 28.
