Sarah Jessica Parker showed that she really does have a great sense of humour during a recent appearance on Funny Or Die's 'Billy On The Street'. Chatting with host Billy Eichner on the streets of New York City, Parker spoke about the criticisms directed towards 2010 movie Sex And The City 2, which was widely panned by critics.

'When it came out it had a lot of criticism,' Billy said to Parker. 'That's what I understand. I didn't read it, but I gleaned from the look on people's faces,' the actress replied. 'I never understood it, I swear,' Billy continued.
'It always made me so angry and I was wondering how that affected you or do you care or do not care because it made me very upset... I enjoyed everything Sex and the City.’

'Maybe it was a little over the top, a road trip movie. They went to the Middle East. Did it affect you?’ Billy asked. 'I think what was surprising was the level of vitriol that I understood was levelled at it,’ Parker answered.
But before she could say anymore he host launched into a passionate rant defending the film and its plot. 'Here’s what I think. I think that that show had dealt so well, in such a smart, sharp way in dissecting guys that I think bros, all the bros out there really liked the chance to jump on it finally to a certain degree.'
'And people said, "I don’t believe them going to the Middle East." I have one guy, a friend of mine who’s into sci-fi, he’s like, "It’s not believable they go to the Middle East." 'I said, "Oh you can’t believe they go to the Middle East, but you believe in f****ing Chewbacca, you f***ing turd? You’ll believe anything that happens on some planet George Lucas made up, but you can’t believe that Kim Cattrall would film for a few weeks in Morocco?”

'I’m serious. I’m so glad to finally be getting this off my chest,” Billy continued. 'Do you know what I mean?’ 'I do,' Parker answered laughing. 'You’re saying things I never would have the courage to say.'
'Anyway, I liked the movie and I hope you do another one,' Billy concluded. 'It did make an enormous amount of cash,' Parker added. The actress is right, despite the critical panning the movie went on to make $288,347,692 worldwide, making it the year’s most successful romantic comedy.
