Award-winning actress Sarah Jessica Parker hopes the heightened media attention surrounding Sex And The City recently will make the show more understandable to men.

Parker played journalist CARRIE BRADSHAW for six years in the show until it finished for good this month (MAR04) and admits the title led to many people, especially men, misunderstanding the content of the show.

Parker says, "There's sex in the title which is very provocative and titillating.

"This idea that Carrie jumps in and out of bed isn't right.

"My poor husband MATTHEW (BRODERICK) is always asked what it's like having me jumping in and out of bed with lots of men. Carrie really hasn't.

"I've never taken off my clothes. I think people perceive the show to be racier than it is."
