Actress Sarah Jessica Parker decided to end SEX AND THE CITY so she could concentrate on raising a family with husband Matthew Broderick.

Parker is looking forward to giving birth to her second child with Broderick now she has more time away from the hit TV show, in which she played urban writer CARRIE BRADSHAW.

She says, "Sex And The City was one of my greatest experiences, but we couldn't do it forever and it's time to think of something new. Like maybe having another baby.

"I always wanted children, but we were so busy. I come from a big family - I'm the fourth of eight kids - and I've always loved children."

Parker and Broderick have a two-year-old son, JAMES WILKE.
