British pop star Sarah Harding has been pictured riding the London Underground just days after her lawyer told a court the singer is too famous to use public transport.
The former Girls Aloud star has been banned from driving for six months after she was caught using a cell phone behind the wheel, and her attorney argued against the sentence by suggesting the singer would struggle to get around on buses and trains due to her fame.
A judge ignored the pleas and ordered Harding to find a different mode of transport, and she has now faced her fears by taking a tube train across the British capital.
Harding uploaded a picture to Twitter.com on Thursday (25Apr13) showing her taking a ride on the London Underground, with the caption, "Sod the traffic!!"
Harding pleaded guilty to a charge of using her cell phone while driving and was disqualified from the roads for six months during a hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court in London on 16 April (13).
