Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding admits having lip fillers to enhance her appearance was ''a big mistake''.
Sarah Harding says having lip fillers was "a big mistake".
The Girls Aloud star was pictured earlier this year with unusually plump lips and she has now admitted to getting them cosmetically enhanced and regrets her decision to alter her features, saying it was a "very silly thing to do".
She told Fabulous magazine: "It's not something I'm going to be trying again, or anything I would recommend to anyone else.
"Around Christmas I got a little bit experimental and decided to have some filler in my lips. Clearly that was a mistake. I was silly, it was a very silly thing to do."
However, the 29-year-old singer-and-actress has denied having Botox to prevent wrinkles on her face and claims her plump-lipped look was the result of a bad reaction to the procedure.
She added: "Thankfully they have gone back down now."
Sarah also admitted she underwent the procedure because she has started to feel more insecure about her lips as she gets older.
She confessed: "It was a case of approaching my 30s and not feeling confident about that. It was something that was on my mind a lot."
Although Sarah is known for her trim figure, she is also working hard with a personal trainer ahead of her wedding to DJ Tom Crane, 31.
She said: "I'm getting there. I'm working out with an amazing trainer and feel so strong and healthy at the moment."
