British royal Sarah Ferguson's former aide, who escaped from prison on Sunday (22Nov09), has been captured by police.
The Duchess of York's security was stepped up following news her former dresser Jane Andrews had disappeared from East Sutton Park open prison in Kent, south-east England.
The convicted murderer was re-arrested on Wednesday (25Nov09) at a hotel in Kent, where she was staying with her family, after the cab driver who dropped her off notified cops.
A police spokesperson says, "Jane Andrews was found in a room at the hotel and was with three people known to her. Miss Andrews was arrested for absconding from East Sutton prison. The three people she was with were not arrested but they have all been spoken to by police."
Andrews, who served Ferguson for nine years until she was fired in 1997, was handed a life sentence in 2001 for killing her boyfriend Tom Cressman after he refused to marry her.
