GREY'S ANATOMY star Sandra Oh paid tribute to her fellow Asian-American actors at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards last night (29JAN06), hoping her win would encourage them to make their presence felt in Hollywood.

The SIDEWAYS star was named Best Female Actor In A Drama Series for her performance as DR CRISTINA YANG in the ABC show.

Oh says, "This is unbelievable. I thank every single actor out there. I'm so grateful for having a job.

"To all my fellow Asian-American actors out there, I share this with you, and be encouraged and keep shining."

Oh was further delighted when LOST stars Daniel Dae Kim and YUNJIN KIM - of Korean descent like Oh - were also honoured with the Best Ensemble In A Drama Series.

She adds, "That's quite an advance and I am proud to be part of it."
