Sandra Bullock and Jesse James looked "totally in love" just days before revelations of his infidelity emerged.

The actress appeared with her husband at a Wal-Mart meeting in Bentonville, Arkansas, on March 13 - four days before tattoo model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee said in an interview she'd had had an affair with the motorcycle enthusiast - where attendees were impressed by their closeness.

One guest told Us Weekly magazine: "She said she wanted to reach down and hug Meryl Streep at the Oscars but her dress was so tight that she couldn't bend down that far - that was hilarious then she said, 'I have a surprise for you,' and ushered out Jesse.

"He came out and talked a little bit. They looked totally in love and sweet. You could tell they adored each other... He was funny."

Meanwhile, representatives for both Sandra, 45, and Jesse, 40, have denied reports the couple have been consulting divorce lawyers.

The 'Blind Side' star's spokesperson said: "Neither she nor her representatives have contacted or shopped around for divorce lawyers."

Jesse's friend Dennis Rodman has lent his support to the couple - but would also like to date Sandra if the pair to call time on their relationship.

Dennis - who has been married twice - told In Touch Weekly magazine: "With all I've been through with marriage, divorce and girlfriends, I'm the wrong guy to ask. I happen to like Jesse and hope this works out for them. However, should it not, with all her success and money, I'd be happy to take Sandra Bullock out for the time of her life."

Last week, Jesse said the "vast majority" of claims about his behaviour were "untrue and unfounded".

However, he added: "I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me."
