Sandra Bullock is voicing a villain in the animated film 'Minions'.
The 'Miss Congeniality' actress has signed up to Universal Pictures' 2010 film 'Despicable Me' spin-off movie as evil antagonist Scarlet Overkill, who is described as '' Audrey Hepburn-like'' and driven by world domination, Deadline.com reports.
The new film will establish the history of the yellow henchmen, who have existed since the beginning of time, and follow their journey in the 1960s to find a new evil master after they have destroyed all of the ''bad guys'' who were previously a threat.
'Minions' is to be directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balfa, with Illumination's Janet Healy and Chris Meledandri producing the script written by Brian Lynch and Chris Renaud serving as executive producer.
The film has been scheduled for a December 2014 release.
The original film grossed over $540 million worldwide and became so popular that the attraction 'Despicable Me Minion Mayhem' was launched at Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida.
