Sandra Bullock's previous dance training helped her film 'Gravity'.
The 49-year-old actress who stars as Dr. Ryan Stone in the new film thought her dance skills helped her film scenes - which were shot inside box where the actors were suspended by cables - that show her drifting aimlessly in orbit when a routine space walk goes wrong
Sandra said: ''Dancing did help. We are operating at very slow speeds, and I'm a fast mover.''
The scenes were also challenging for Hollywood hunk Clooney who plays astronaut and male lead Matt Kowalsky.
He described moving slowly in space as one of the ''trickiest thing you have ever done'' but was extremely complimentary of Bullock claiming she had got the hang of it before he arrived on set.
He added: ''It was absolutely stunning what she was doing.''
Although much of the work for the scenes was done individually the brunette beauty admitted she felt comforted by Clooney's voice.
She told a news conference before the film's debut at the Venice Film Festival: ''George and I were rarely together, but If I could hear his voice I would feel better. I was grateful for any human contact, even if it was just a breath.''
The Californian rockers were defiant in their intention to play the venue once again.
