Sandra Bullock found promoting SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL difficult because she knew the sequel was a poor imitation of the original - and she prayed interviewers wouldn't grill her too deeply about her opinion of the action adventure.
It remains one of the few occasions the sexy actress has appeared on TV chat shows to talk up a film she had absolutely no faith in.
She explains, "For Speed 2, I said, 'If someone asks me, did you like the film? I have to be honest, but if they don't ask me I will talk about the positive part of it, like we got to spend the shoot in an incredible location, I liked the actors I worked with, the crew members I've known for a long time and we had a great time.'
"But having a great time on a film doesn't always make a film, so you just sort of pray that nobody says, 'What did you think of the film?' Well, I had a lovely bungalow in St Martin and the sunsets were just incredible. That's what you do."09/03/2005 10:32
