Real life stories really do not come as real as this, as the Disneynature branch of the Walt Disney celluloid empire presents African Cats. A epic true story concerning the love, humour and determination faced everyday by the feline kings of the African savannah.
Sir Patrick Stewart brings this story to life as he chronicles the story of Mara, Sita and Fang in their natural habitat. Mara is an endearing lion cub that strives to develop the same strength, spirit and wisdom that her mother possesses. Sita is a intrepid cheetah and the lone parent of five mischievous newborns and Fang is a proud leader of the pride who must defend his family not only from the wild Serengeti elements, but perhaps more dangerously by a rival lion and his sons.
With all the awe-inspiring backdrops and in-depth camera shots of a Sir David Attenborough documentary and all the moving, attachment felt for the characters in a way not dissimilar to the cast of a Disney film, African Cats is the perfect blend of factual entertainment and endearing drama for the whole family to enjoy.
