'Too Good At Goodbyes' is the heartbreaking first single from Sam Smith's forthcoming album, and if you thought the song was a tear-jerker, wait until you see the new video. It deals with break-ups amongst various diverse relationships.
Luke Monaghan has directed the visual, which opens with Sam Smith singing at a home studio with piano accompaniment. The song, which was co-written by Sam Smith, Fiona Davies, Jimmy Napes, and Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate, topped UK charts upon its September release.
Sam has yet to reveal details regarding his forthcoming second album, except that it is expected to be release in the Fall this year through Capitol Records. It's the follow up to his 2014 hit record 'In the Lonely Hour', which won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Last year he won a Best Original Song Academy Award for his song 'Writing's on the Wall' which he wrote and performed for the Bond film 'Spectre'. While he's just completed a series of four major city dates, his next performance will be during the We Can Survive charity fundraising concert on October 21st at the Hollywood Bowl alongside Harry Styles, Kesha, Lorde, Macklemore, P!nk and others.
