The Sweet Lady hitmaker was drawing a crowd outside the major music industry event as he conducted the latest demonstration in his campaign for more black artists to be played on 'white radio'.

He has been complaining that some mainstream radio stations will not play his song Shame, insisting that if it had been recorded by white artists such as Sam Smith, Justin Timberlake or Robin Thicke, it would have been aired more often.

According to editors at TMZ.com, the police arrived at the protest and gave Gibson a ticket for stopping traffic.
