The line up for this year's Edinburgh Film Festival has been officially unveiled.
Organisers had already revealed that the event will open with the new movie from Sam Mendes, road-trip flick AWAY WE GO.
It has now been announced that the 11-day-long event will close with the premier of MAX MEYER's new rom-com ADAM.
And in between these two pictures, film fans should have plenty to get their teeth into, with a total of 135 features from 33 different countries getting an airing.
Hannah McGill, artistic director of the festival, said: "We've been really privileged to see a tremendous range of very varied work from all over the world this year."
Other highlights of the event include STEVEN SODERBERG's THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE, while digitally remastered versions of SHALLOW GRAVE and THE RED SHOES will also be shown.
Recently, Mendes was forced to put an end to plans to direct an opera at the 2010 Glyndebourne Festival due to lack of time.
