Project Almanac - Trailer Trailer

David Raskin is a regular teenager going through regular problems i.e. girls, grades, and hangs around with his friends who have their own issues too from poverty to bullying. But soon their problems become huge disasters when David discovers his teenage self reflected in a mirror on a video tape of his seventh birthday. Determined to solve the mystery, the friends explore his father's old workshop where they discover blueprints for Project Almanac - a temporal re-location device that can transport the users into a past time. They decide to build the time machine, and subsequently abuse its potential, using it to get their own back on bullies, pick up girls and force a lottery win. Soon they notice that their bodies are becoming dislodged from their own temporal plane and a string of deadly disasters are occurring all around them. Can they turn back time so that they never turned back time? Or is it too late for the damage to be undone?

Monster House Review

Excellent

Every perfect and picturesque neighborhood - at least in the movies - has one: that creepy old house that fuels the nightmares and serves as the centerpiece of the double-dog dares for the local kids.

DJ (Mitchel Musso) has made the house his mission. He's set his bedroom up as home base to watch old Mr. Nebbercracker across the street, an irate curmudgeon (voiced by Steve Buscemi) who steals any balls or bikes that find their way into his yard, chases after kids to keep off his lawn, and, presumably, thinks the music kids listen to today is nothing but noise. Within an hour of DJ's parents leaving for the weekend, Nebbercracker is dead (from a heart attack during an apoplectic moment at finding DJ on his lawn) and DJ is finding out that the old coot might not have been the most dangerous part of the creepy old house, because the house itself is starting to... eat people.

Envy (2004) Review

It begins with two working stiffs, Tim (Ben Stiller) and Nick (Jack Black) plodding their lives away at a 3M facility. By-the-book Tim is creeping into middle management while dreamer Nick wallows on the factory floor concocting wacky ideas for useless products. All of that changes when one of Nick's hare-brained schemes, a spray that dissolves dog excrement called Vapoorize (No. Stop. I think I'm gonna bust a gut.), pans out and makes millions.
