Cast members of the reality show The Only Way is Essex have rallied together in support of Sam Faiers and sister Billie Faiers, who were hospitalised following a savage attack at the weekend.
According to the UK's Sun newspaper, the girls were enjoying a night out together in London when Billie had her handbag, cash and mobile phone stolen on the dance floor of a nightclub. However, the worst was yet to come, and an hour later a group of nine girls attacked the sisters, with Sam repeatedly kicked in the head. At one stage during the attack, one girl claimed she had "killed" the reality star. The sisters, who were hospitalized following the incident, have received a wave of support from their cast mates, including Mark Wright who tweeted, "Hearts with Samantha Faiers and Billie Faiers 2night. Chin up girls its jealousy. Get well. Thinking of u. Love u both". Amy Childs, who left the show after series one, said, "What can I say, so many jealous girls out there . Sam and Billie I love you so much xxxxx". Fan-favourite Joey Essex, who recently dated Sam, tweeted, "Sending all my love to both the girls Sam and Billie x Glad to hear they are both ok x x x".
The trouble flared outside the Jet Black club in central London during the early hours of Sunday morning (23rd October 2011) Witness Heather Tudor said one of the attackers had accused Billie of seeing her boyfriend.
