Actress Saffron Burrows is thrilled she'll be joining her pal DAVID SCHWIMMER on the London stage this May (05) - because it's his West End debut she wants to support him.

The stars are performing at the British capital's Gielgud Theatre in NEIL LaBUTE's new work Some Girls, and the pressure is on, as the popular playwright intends to sit in on the rehearsals.

Former model Burrows, says, "Schwimmer and I are old friends and had a private read-through of our own scenes in Los Angeles recently.

"When it comes to rehearsals, Neil will sit in, as he always does with the first productions of his plays.

"Neil loves the responses of actors first-hand, though he's not precious about it."
