Sacha Baron Cohen's outlandish gay character BRUNO stopped traffic at the Australian premiere of his new movie - dressed as a sexy knight in shining armour.
Cohen hit Sydney on Monday night (29Jun09) for the screening, and thrilled crowds of screaming fans by stepping out as a knight, leading a white horse dressed in bondage gear.
The funnyman has donned a different costume for every international premiere of the picture - in London he posed as a gay Queen's guard and in Spain he dressed up as a bull.
But Cohen's promotional trail in Australia has been marred with controversy.
In character as Bruno, he had earlier joked about romancing the country's Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, telling a press conference, "The reason I'm late is I just had breakfast in bed with Kevin Rudd. That guy is, like, uber cute. I thought (U.S. President Barack) Obama was, like, the hottest guy in the world until I met Kevin."
