S.C.U.M's new single, Faith Unfolds, will be released on Mute in January 2012. It is taken from their debut album Again Into Eyes, which was released in September 2011. Currently, S.C.U.M are touring Europe with The Horrors.
The video for Faith Unfolds was directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard is a psychedelic look at the band performing under blue and red lights. The faces of the band members are sometimes interspersed together and sometimes blurred shots of Melissa on drums appear in the background, behind frontman Thomas' singing.
S.C.U.M stands for Society for Cutting Up Men, according to the band, which comprises: Thomas Cohen (vocals); Bradley Baker (machines); Samuel Kilcoyne (keyboards); Huw Webb (bass) and Melissa Rigby (drums). Their previous single, Whitechapel, is a favourite at gigs. S.C.U.M recently embarked on a tour of the UK and Europe in September and October 2011, to promote their album, Again Into Eyes.
