Ryan Seacrest is currently in negotiations to join the cast of the highly anticipated movie 'New Year's Eve'.
RYAN SEACREST, the American television and radio personality, is currently in talks to play himself in the movie 'New Year's Eve', which follows the lives of several couples and singles in New York City, whose stories intertwine on the last evening of the year.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Seacrest has had discussions with film bosses about the possibility of making an appearance in the movie, which is set to be directed by Garry Marshall. The film is likely to be similar in style to Marshall's last movie, 'Valentines Day' and the A-list cast already includes Robert De Niro, Glee's Lea Michele, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller as well as a cameo from Jon Bon Jovi. New Line Cinema also confirmed this week that rapper Ice Cube is close to joining the cast, as is Josh Duhamel who will play a hopeless romantic. Seacrest already has some experience of appearing in feature films, he made a cameo in the action comedy 'Get Smart' and more recently appeared alongside Seth Rogen in 'Knocked Up'.
The movie is set to be released on 9th December 2011 in both the US and UK.
