Olympic swimming champion Ryan Lochte is diving head first into his first post-Olympics gig, but rather than it being a rigorous exercise programme the swimming ace will instead be diving into a guest starring role on the Beverley Hills drama 90210.
US network CW announced on Tuesday (13th August) that Lochte, fresh from winning five medals during the London Olympics, will be appearing on the show as himself on an episode airing on October 29th. The episode will see him popping up at a luxury resort where Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Max (Josh Zuckerman) are staying in a bid to strengthen their faltering relationship.
The casting comes on the back of news that Lochte may also be appearing in a number of reality shows, after he said in an interview on NBC's Today that he was considering himself in roles on The Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars. Whilst both of the two reality shows have yet to be confirmed by Lochte or any of his PR team, the scheduled 90210 performance can only add strength to the claims that he is ready to appear on the shows. Lochte is also lining up his own fashion line too, and is said to be in Los Angeles at the moment drawing up potential ideas for his range of clothes.
