Ryan Leslie is facing further legal woes as the man who won a $1 million (£625,000) payout from him has filed a demand for interest on the settlement.
The R&B singer/producer was left devastated last month (Nov12) when a court in New York ordered him to hand the massive sum over to Armin Augstein, who returned the star's laptop after finding it in Germany in 2010.
Leslie offered a $1 million reward after losing the computer and Augstein sued over claims the musician reneged on the deal because he had all the lost songs stored on his external hard drive.
A jury ruled in the claimant's favour and Augstein has now filed court papers demanding an additional $180,000 (£112,500) in interest to cover the two years he has spent fighting to claim the reward.
The papers were filed in Manhattan Federal Court on Thursday (06Dec12), according to the New York Post.
Leslie expressed his outrage over the court's decision during a recent gig by setting fire to a newspaper which had published coverage of the case.
