Ryan Gosling said a George Clooney prank made him wet his pants.

The 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' star revealed the Oscar winner has been playing tricks on him on the set of their forthcoming film 'The Ides of March', which is produced and directed by George, who also stars in the movie alongside Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The 30-year-old actor told Extra: "He will come up to you and tell you something very serious ... and then he'll walk away and you realise your pants are wet. He's had like an Evian spray bottle. He's been spraying your crotch the whole time.

"He's hard to be around, so handsome, smart, charming, funny."

The film - which is based on the play 'Farragut North' by Beau Willimon - tells the story of a dirty politics whereby a press secretary pulls out all the stops in an attempt to get his presidential candidate (George) elected.
