With Ryan Gosling'S latest film 'Drive' coming out today in the US(16/9,) the Canadian actor's been setting female hearts a-flutter by admitting that he wants to have kids.
'Drive' concerns a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a wheelman, before finding out that a contract has been placed on him after he gets a heist wrong. Gosling, though, has half an eye on matters more domesticated than a life of high-octane action: "I'd like to be making babies," admitted the A-lister to Hollywood.com, "but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen."
Gosling has much to be getting on with though, he was in Toronto last week for new film 'The Ides of March' with George Clooney, and the 30 year-old claimed that, with no girlfriend currently on the horizon, it was film he'd be committing himself to. "There's interest but I'm in a committed relationship with film. I'm giving as much to it as a marriage."
Of the previous partners Gosling has had, he named Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams as "two of the greatest girlfriends of all time;" he was with Bullock for a year in 2003 and ended a two year relationship with his fellow Canadian actress in 2007.
