Ryan Dunn, the 'Jackass' star who was killed in a car crash on Monday morning (20th June 2011) died as a result of both "blunt force trauma" and the fire that engulfed his Porsche 911, according to the Chester County Coroner's report acquired by Tmz.com. Ryan Dunn's car veered off the highway and crashed into a tree, killing both him and his passenger.
The coroner's office have released autopsy results for both men, which state both individuals were dead by the time officials arrived at the scene. Based on the results, the crash was so violent it seems to be impossible to determine whether the pair died from the impact of the collision itself or the fire that consumed the vehicle. Officials say toxicology results for both men will be released in 4 to 6 weeks, which will help determine whether alcohol played in a role in the crash. Although the 'Jackass' star was photographed at a local bar just hours before the accident, the initial police press release did not refer to alcohol being a possible reason for the collision. A spokesperson for 'Barnaby's of America' where Dunn had been socialising with friends, confirmed the reality star did not appear drunk before he left.
Ryan Dunn appeared in all five 'Jackass' movies, most notably in the first film where he drove a golf kart down a hill at high speed.
