Rap mogul-turned-designer Russell Simmons is going back to ancient India for his new line of quality T-shirts. The Phat Farm founder's new project, RWS, involves ancient designs on top-of-the-line fabrics. He tells urbanwear designer MARC ECKO's style magazine Complex, "We'll do a lot of Sanskrit (text) with allover graphics. "It's a fun company, very different, very expensive eight-ounce selvedge denim." But Simmons has a lot of money to play with as he embarks on his latest venture - he sold his Phat Farm empire for a reported $140 million (GBP77.7 million) in 2004.
