Opening day screenings of Russell Crowe's biblical epic Noah were cancelled at a cinema in Exeter, England due to a flood.
The blockbuster, which tells the story of the Great Flood, opened in the U.K. over the weekend (05-06Apr14), but cinema-goers in the south west of the country were left disappointed on Friday (04Apr14) when the first screening of Noah at the Vue in Exeter was called off.
The cinema was closed due to a flooding incident caused by a faulty ice machine.
A spokesman for the cinema tells the Express and Echo local newspaper, "We can confirm that there was flooding at Vue Exeter on Friday 4th April due to a fault with an ice machine.
"We are open for business as usual and are working with engineers to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible."
