Funnyman Russell Brand has been accused of hypocrisy over his "Nazi" rant at fashion label Hugo Boss after he was photographed wearing one of the designer's jackets.
The Get Him to the Greek actor was turfed out of a GQ Men of the Year Awards afterparty on Tuesday (03Sep13) after reminding revellers that the brand, which was sponsoring the event, designed uniforms for Adolf Hitler's men.
He defended his behaviour by insisting it is his "job" to deal with uncomfortable subjects, but now a photograph has emerged of Brand sporting a Hugo Boss jacket at an Academy Awards bash in February (13).
A spokesman for Veterans Association Uk, which provides support for British war heroes, tells The Sun newspaper, "It's such gross hypocrisy to criticise Hugo Boss' Nazi connections and wear one of their jackets. This is typical Russell Brand. He's got a big mouth and he never stops to think before he puts his foot in it."
