Rush's longtime photographer Andrew Macnaughtan has died after suffering a heart attack in Los Angeles.
The snapper was with the Canadian rockers when he died.
A statement from the band reads, "We're deeply shocked and heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of our close friend and longtime photographer, Andrew MacNaughtan. He was a sweet person and a very talented artist. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed."
MacNaughtan's photos inspired an Hiv/Aids fundraising campaign in 2010 when artists like Rush pals Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Celine Dion, Michael Buble and Annie Lennox gave their voices to a video montage of his images.
