Rumer Willis celebrated her 24th birthday in style last Thursday (16.08.12), but her mother Demi Moore was noticeably absent.
The actress was treated to a meal at Abe & Arthur's in New York's Meatpacking District with her sisters Tallulah and Scout, and her father Bruce Willis joined them halfway through the meal.
However, Rumer's mother Demi Moore was noticeably absent from the celebrations, fuelling rumours of a rift.
An eye witness told the New York Post newspaper: ''He (Bruce) helped them sing 'Happy Birthday' to Rumer and blow out the candles.''
The 'Die Hard' actor said his goodbyes to the girls as they headed downstairs to party the night away at SL lounge.
They were joined by Rumer's roommate Annie Starke - who is Glenn Close's daughter - and her new boyfriend Jayson Blair.
The star posted a series of pictures on twitter, saying: ''Happy Birthday Me ... with my two favorite people @anniestarke1 and @jayson_blair (sic).''
Demi has been troubled since last November following her split from Ashton Kutcher and went to rehab for issues including an eating disorder, exhaustion and substance abuse.
Her daughters have reportedly been considering getting a restraining order against their mother because of her erratic behaviour.
A source recently commented: ''Demi has been calling them incessantly and emailing them, leaving them tearful messages and begging them to call her and the girls are sick of it.
''It is a really drastic measure and not something they are considering lightly but they just feel like they want some peace and quiet.''
