Bosses at rap record label Ruff Ryders Entertainment owe $1 million (£625,000) in fines to New York City, according to a report.
The collective, which launched the careers of hip-hop heavyweights including DMX, Eve and Swizz Beatz, has been hit with a bill stemming from charges for posting stickers and promotional posters around the Big Apple.
According to AllHipHop.com, the New York City financial commissioner alleges Ruff Ryders Entertainment staff put up 3,400 posters without permission, and now they are chasing the money for the fines.
