Scala & Kolacny Brothers choir were one of the acts which wowed the Princess Royal at the Royal Variety Performance in Salford, northern England, which was televised last night (14.12.11).
The daughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip represented her parents at the 99th edition of the annual show, held this year on December 5 at the Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays, Northern England, and was impressed with the choir and performers including Tony Bennett, Nicole Scherzinger and Leona Lewis.
Scala & Kolacny Brothers choir - a Belgian women's choir who perform unique renditions of pop songs - performed U2's 'With Or Without You' with 'Britain's Got Talent' TV show winner Jai McDowall, followed by a rendition of Queen track 'Somebody To Love' with Cee Lo and Leona, to rapturous applause.

Adam Ant felt ''proud'' watching the wedding between Britain's Duchess Catherine and Prince William and says it felt like the ''world stopped'' when the prince arrived for the nuptials.
The eccentric singer - who admits he is a royalist - enjoyed watching Britain's Prince William marry Duchess Catherine at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 because he felt "proud" of the British Monarchy, in particular William and his brother Harry.
He said: "When those two princes stepped out onto the red carpet at that wedding it was like the whole world stopped.

During the protests in the city's Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square on December 9, Charlie - who was adopted by David after his mother remarried - was photographed hanging from a Union Jack flag on the Cenotaph and he is also accused of stealing a mannequin leg.

Eccentric rocker Ozzy Osbourne's injuries from last year's (03) quad bike accident have worsened again, forcing him to pull out of Britain's prestigious Royal Variety Performance, which is being filmed tonight (14DEC04).
The former BLACK SABBATH star was looking forward to making his only live UK appearance of the year at the London Coliseum, in front of British royal Prince Charles, but the metal plate he had inserted after the accident has become so painful he will be bed-ridden until doctors make surgical adjustments.
Ozzy will be replaced by his wife SHARON and daughter KELLY who will send his apologies to the audience and the show's stars, which will include LIZA MINNELLI and SIR Elton John.

British singer Katie Melua has been invited to perform a private concert for Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN at THE KREMLIN.
The 19-year-old, who was born in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, was left stunned by the offer - just a year after she performed for Queen ELIZABETH II at the Royal Variety Performance in London.

Opera superstar Luciano Pavarotti upset organisers at this week's (23NOV03) Royal Variety Performance in Scotland, after demanding two theatre dressing rooms and a fully fitted kitchen in his Edinburgh hotel suite.
The heavyweight tenor headlined Monday's event - which was watched by QUEEN ELIZABETH II - but only after organisers met his outrageous demands.
According to British newspaper The Sun, the 68-year-old turned up so late he didn't have time to use either of the dressing rooms set aside for him and also upset the event schedule by singing one instead of two songs.
