Swedish pop stars Roxette have called off a concert in New Zealand after guitarist Per Gessle fell ill.
The duo was set to perform at the Vector Arena in Auckland on Saturday (11Feb12) but they've called off the gig after Gessle came down with a mystery illness during a flight from Sweden.
He has since been told to rest for the next few days so he can continue with the tour.
Staff at promoters Live Nation were unable to schedule an alternative date for the performance, which was the only New Zealand date on Roxette's current tour.
The band is due to perform in Brisbane, Australia on Tuesday (07Feb12).
