Chef Movie

The Tribeca Film Festival is underway in New York, and stars have been turning out to promote their new movies. Jon Favreau and Sofia Vergara hit the red carpet for their film Chef. Sofia Loren turned up with her filmmaker son Edoardo Ponti and other family members for the premiere of Soul Survivors. And retired boxers Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield staged a reunion on the red carpet for the the documentary Champs. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, paparazzi got more pictures of a rather rough-looking Jennifer Aniston on the set of her new movie Cake, along with costar Sam Worthington. It's about a mother who is both physically and emotionally devastated by a car crash, and gets help from an unexpected source. And in London, Kelsey Grammer and veteran British actor Andrew Sachs were photographed on the streets shooting their new film Breaking the Bank, a comedy about an old, family-run bank trying to resist a takeover attempt from multi-national investment bankers. You can take a look at the filming photos of Kelsey Grammer and veteran British actor Andrew Sachs.

If I Stay

New trailers this week include two dramas about young musicians. If I Stay is about a gifted cellist who's in a life-changing car crash. It stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Jamie Blackley, Liana Liberato and Mireille Enos, opens in August and looks pretty warm and wrenching. Watch 'If I Stay' Trailer.

And from Once writer-director John Carney, Begin Again is about a young singer-songwriter trying to make it in Manhattan. Out in July, it looks lively and energetic, and stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeld, James Corden and musicians Adam Levine, CeeLo Green and Mos Def. Watch 'Begin Again' Trailer.

But the biggest trailer of the week was an epic new view of X-men: Days of Future Past, the whizzy time-travel blockbuster that combines the cast of First Class with the original trilogy. It looks pretty mind-bending, and very exciting, and opens in just a few weeks. Watch 'X-men: Days of Future Past' Trailer.

Jersey Boys

And finally, we also got our first look at Clint Eastwood's film of the hit Broadway play Jersey Boys, the stylish, classics-filled story of the turbulent rise to fame of the iconic pop group The Four Seasons in 1960s New Jersey. Christopher Walken leads the cast for the film, which is out in June. Watch 'Jersey Boys' Trailer.
