George Jones

Why Baby Why: The country music world lost a true legend in the shape of George Jones last week. The musician was dubbed No Show George for his unpredictability throughout his touring career though he never failed to entertain and certainly had a tale to tell. The musical luminaries turned out en masse for his funeral too.

The Slipper Fits: Lily James landed the biggest role of her short career this week, filing the part of Cinderella in Kenneth Branagh's new big-budget movie for Disney. You may remember that Emma Watson turned down the role earlier this year - could that be a movie that comes back to haunt her?

Lily the Zombie Killer: Lily Collins didn't strike up as a marauding hunter of the un-dead during her turn in Mirror, Mirror, but the young British star - and daughter of Phil Collins - is to take up the lead in the Natalie Portman produced 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!'

Farrah Abraham

Selling Her Soul? MTV star Farrah Abraham made a huge decision this week, choosing to sign over the rights to her adult movie to porn giant Vivid Entertainment for the princely sum of nearly $1 million. So it worked for Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and others - but will Farrah find international fame?

Most Racist Ad, Ever? Tyler The Creator is never far from controversy, and this time it's his commercial for energy drink Mountain Dew that's come in for intense criticism. Described by some commentators as the most racist ad ever, it stars Felicia The Coat (voiced by Tyler) who beats up a waitress before evading police. What do you think?

Beyonce Snubs the Royals? Beyonce caused a royal stir in the UK this week, apparently snubbing designer Matthew Williamson and his guest Princess Eugenie ahead of her show at the O2 arena. The pair expected a private audience with the R&B superstar, though Bey has more important things to worry about right?

Mariah Carey

Princess Carey: Mariah Carey renewed her wedding vows to husband Nick Cannon outside Sleeping Beauty's Castle at the Disneyland resort this week. Staff reportedly closed down the fantasy land for Carey, Cannon and their 250 guests to enjoy the evening, despite the bitterly cold weather!

Jump! Our condolences to the family of Chris Kelly of rap outfit Kris Kross after the singer was found dead this week. Kelly topped the Billboard chart when just 13-years-old - no mean feat.

Lights Out: Lil Wayne's fans are starting to lose count of the rapper's seizures and subsequent hospitalization. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles on Tuesday after suffering a single seizure. Get well soon Weezy!

Video of the Week: This week's hottest footage comes from the White House Correspondent's Association Dinner in Washington, where the famous faces included Katy Perry - donning a stunning green dress - Gerard Butler, Piers Morgan and rocker Jon Bon Jovi.
